THE SCIENTIFIC DEATH OF JESUS

THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS

For the next 60 seconds set aside whatever you’re doing and take this opportunity! Let's see if Satan can stop this. AT THE AGE OF 33 JESUS WAS CONDEMNED TO DEATH.

At the time Crucifixion was the "worst" death. Only the worst criminals were condemned to be crucified. Yet it was even more dreadful for Jesus, unlike other criminals condemned to death by crucifixion Jesus was to be nailed to the cross by His hands and feet. Each nail was 6 to 8 inches long.

The nails were driven into His wrist. Not Into his palms as is commonly portrayed. There's a tendon in the wrist that extends to the shoulder. The Roman guards knew that when the nails were being hammered into the wrist that tendon would tear and break, forcing Jesus to use His back muscles to support himself so that He could Breath.

Both of His feet were nailed together. Thus He was forced to Support Himself on the single nail that impaled His feet to the cross. Jesus could not support himself with His legs because of the pain So He was forced to alternate between arching His Back and then using his legs just to continue to Breath. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the Suffering, the courage.

Jesus endured this Reality for over 3 hours. Yes, Over 3 hours! Can you imagine this kind of Suffering? A few minutes before He died, Jesus stopped bleeding. He was simply pouring water from his wounds.

From common images we see wounds to His hands and feet and even the spear wound To His side. But do we realize His wounds were actually made in his body. A hammer driving large nails through the wrist, the feet overlapped and an even large nail hammered through the arches, then a Roman guard piercing His side with a spear. But Before the nails and the spear Jesus was whipped and beaten. The whipping was so severe that it tore the Flesh from His body. The beating so horrific that his face was torn and his beard ripped from His face. The Crown of thorns cut deeply into His scalp. Most men would not have survived this torture."

He had no more blood to bleed out, only water poured from His Wounds. The human adult body contains about 3.5 liters (just less than a gallon) of blood. Jesus poured all 3.5 Liters of his blood; He had three nails hammered into His Members; a crown of thorns on His head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who stabbed a spear into His Chest.

All these without Mentioning the humiliation He suffered after carrying His own Cross for almost 2 kilometers, while the crowd spat in his Face and threw stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, Only for its higher part, where His hands were Nailed).

Jesus had to endure this experience, to open the Gates of Heaven, So that you can have free Access to God. So that your sins could be "washed" away. All of them, with no exception!

Don't ignore this situation. JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOU! He died for you! It is easy to pass jokes or foolish photos by e-mail, but when it comes to God, sometimes you feel ashamed to forward to others because you are worried of what they may think about you.

God Has plans for you show all your friends what He experienced to save you. Now think about this! May God bless your Life!

60 Seconds with God. For the next 60 Seconds, set aside what you're doing and take this opportunity! Let's see if Satan can stop this. All you have to do is:

1. Simply pray for the person who sent this message to you:

2. Then, send this Message to people. The more people you send this message to the better.
3. People will pray for you and you will make that many people pray to God for other people.
4. Take a Moment to appreciate the power of God in your life, for doing what pleases Him.

If you are not ashamed to do this, please, follow Jesus' instructions.

He said (Matthew 10:32 & 33): "EVERYONE THEREFORE WHO ACKNOWLEDGES ME BEFORE OTHERS, I ALSO WILL ACKNOWLEDGE BEFORE MY FATHER IN HEAVEN; BUT WHOSOEVER DENIES ME BEFORE OTHERS, I WILL DENY BEFORE MY FATHER IN HEAVEN.”

RE-EDITING YOUR MIND

By
Promise Monday
Romans 12:2-Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. (NIV)….
There is a saying that if the world is sitting, you the church should stand up; if the world is standing, you stand out; if the world is standing out, you be outstanding. There should always be a high concentration gradient between the church and the world. The church is from Greek word ‘ecclesia’ meaning ‘the called out ones’. The church has been called with a purpose of giving spiritual worship ( Heb.13:15 (NIV) -Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess his name. Rom.12:1 (NIV)- Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship), and with a mission of building disciples to mentor nations (tribes, culture, background, religion) and teaching them how to live (Matt.28:19,20(The Message Bible)-Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I'll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age). But the church cannot do this until there is re-editing of their minds (a part of the soul which is the seat of thought/intellect)…Psalms 23:3 (NIV) he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake; 1 Peter 1:9 (NIV) - for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
The Greek word for ‘renew’ in Romans 12:2 says to ‘rebuild’, you to have a change of mindset into that of Christ (This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we're free of worry on Judgment Day--our standing in the world is identical with Christ's.1John 4:17 The Message Bible), it means a change in the attitude of the mind in Ephesians 4:23, 24 (NIV)…to be made new in the attitude of your minds and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. In renewing your mind you are transformed (Greek: ‘metamorphose’-change, transfigure, transform). The same Greek word is used for metamorphosis in modern biology for metamorphosis of insects such as butterfly: at the early stage, you have the egg which opens up to become larva (the wingless immature worm-shaped form of many insects that develops into a pupa or chrysalis before becoming an adult insect), then larva to pupa (an insect at the stage between a larva and an adult in complete metamorphosis, during which the insect is in cocoon or case, stops feeding, and undergoes internal changes), then pupa to imago (an insect in its sexually mature adult state). The word ‘imago’ in Latin means ‘likeness’. The same way the church is to grow in to the likeness of Christ, fully mature adults with the capability to reproduce disciples for Christ, to be transformed from the carnally minded beings to spiritually minded beings.
You are therefore to re-edit your mind by the word of God…and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator (Colossians 3:10 NIV), this you can do by studying and meditating on the word (Joshua 1:8(NIV)…Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful; 1Tim.4:15(KJV)…Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Meditate in Greek ‘meleteo’   means ‘to revolve’, in Hebrew ‘Hagah’ means to ruminate (mull something over: to think carefully and at length about something. Refer to ruminants)…Acts 20:32KJV-And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. You are sanctified (Greek word ‘hagiazo’ meaning to ‘purify’, ‘make holy’, ‘set apart for use’) by the word…. (John 17:17NIV…Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth)
Let us therefore give ourselves to prayer and meditation on God’s word so we can offer our spiritual worship and be able to mentor the word we live in.

GREAT SACRIFICE OF A MOTHER

This is a true story of Mother’s Sacrifice during the Japan Earthquake.
After the Earthquake had subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supporting by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head.

With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescuer team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman’s body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure.
He and the rest of the team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to the ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement,” A child! There is a child! “
The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up.
The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child!!

HE ONLY IS ENOUGH FOR

http://facebook.com/promise.monday
The heading above reminds me of the story of a rich man who had just one son and a servant. Before he died, he wrote his will which not known to the son as is expected. Meanwhile, the only son was away when he died. News got to the son of his father's death of which he has to return home. After the burial of his father the content of the will was made known to all. The will was read thus: 'My only son is to be allowed to choose just one of my properties then the rest given to my servant'. When the only son heard this; he felt disappointed by the father and concluded that his father must have hated him so much to have made such wicked decision. Hence, went about complaining to his father's friends. He was given 10 days to make his choice, in the course of this, news  already gotten to the father's servant of the content of the will hence was jubilating. One day before the tenth day while trying to figure out what to do, he was kindly advised by one of his father's friend of the decision to take. Now the deal day came, there was heat everywhere waiting for the decision he will take: He stood up and said I know my father meant well for me to have taken such decision before he died and I am going to do exactly without complaining, therefore I CHOOSE MY FATHER'S SERVANT, IN CHOOSING HIM I OWN EVERYTHING BECAUSE HE IS GOING TO CHOOSE EVERY OTHER THING MY FATHER OWNED.

Friends this is like the story of Jesus Christ sent by God to the world because He loves us as stated in the Holy Scripture John 3:16 "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.'' He like the servant Has brought us eternal life: John 10:10 ''A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed.''

Whatever God has promised us is sealed in Christ Jesus: 2Cor. 1:20 Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God's Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. So what else do we desire and work tireless for on earth other than the security of our lives eternally? Mat 16:26 What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?

In conclusion like the wise son choose you Jesus Christ this day and have all: Mat 6:31 Don't worry and ask yourselves, "Will we have anything to eat? Will we have anything to drink? Will we have any clothes to wear?"
Mat 6:32 Only people who don't know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows that you need all of these.
Mat 6:33 But more than anything else, put God's work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.
Mat 6:34 Don't worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today.
God bless you as you make the best and wisest decision.
