HE ONLY IS ENOUGH FOR

http://facebook.com/promise.monday
The heading above reminds me of the story of a rich man who had just one son and a servant. Before he died, he wrote his will which not known to the son as is expected. Meanwhile, the only son was away when he died. News got to the son of his father's death of which he has to return home. After the burial of his father the content of the will was made known to all. The will was read thus: 'My only son is to be allowed to choose just one of my properties then the rest given to my servant'. When the only son heard this; he felt disappointed by the father and concluded that his father must have hated him so much to have made such wicked decision. Hence, went about complaining to his father's friends. He was given 10 days to make his choice, in the course of this, news  already gotten to the father's servant of the content of the will hence was jubilating. One day before the tenth day while trying to figure out what to do, he was kindly advised by one of his father's friend of the decision to take. Now the deal day came, there was heat everywhere waiting for the decision he will take: He stood up and said I know my father meant well for me to have taken such decision before he died and I am going to do exactly without complaining, therefore I CHOOSE MY FATHER'S SERVANT, IN CHOOSING HIM I OWN EVERYTHING BECAUSE HE IS GOING TO CHOOSE EVERY OTHER THING MY FATHER OWNED.

Friends this is like the story of Jesus Christ sent by God to the world because He loves us as stated in the Holy Scripture John 3:16 "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.'' He like the servant Has brought us eternal life: John 10:10 ''A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed.''

Whatever God has promised us is sealed in Christ Jesus: 2Cor. 1:20 Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God's Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. So what else do we desire and work tireless for on earth other than the security of our lives eternally? Mat 16:26 What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?

In conclusion like the wise son choose you Jesus Christ this day and have all: Mat 6:31 Don't worry and ask yourselves, "Will we have anything to eat? Will we have anything to drink? Will we have any clothes to wear?"
Mat 6:32 Only people who don't know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows that you need all of these.
Mat 6:33 But more than anything else, put God's work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.
Mat 6:34 Don't worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today.
God bless you as you make the best and wisest decision.
